Barton P. Ross, DDS

Dr. Ross, originally from Newark, NJ, grew up in Miami Beach and has been treating patients in South Florida since 1976. He is a graduate of the University of Florida and Emory University School of Dentistry.

He has completed over 2000 hours of post-doctoral training with emphasis in Implant Surgery & Prosthetics, Periodontal & Oral Surgery, Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry, Orthodontics, Root Canal Treatment, Jaw Joint Disorders (TMJ) and Sedation & Pharmacology. Dr. Ross has also received extensive medical training in utilizing Botox and facial fillers (non-surgical face-lift). 

Dr. Ross has provided cosmetic facial and dental care to more than 30,000 South Florida patients over the past 35 years. He brings a refreshing and insightful perspective of combination treatments utilizing extensive dental restorative techniques in conjunction with facial esthetic enhancements. He is a respected educator, lecturer and instructor, having trained and certified hundreds of medical and dental professionals in facial rejuvenation procedures and head and neck anatomy. 

Dr. Ross was awarded diplomate status in 1993 in the  American Society of Osseointegration (Implantology - Surgery  and  Prosthetics)   and   is    professionally    affiliated    with     the
American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. He also maintains credentialing with the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants. Dr. Ross is vice-president of the Academy of General Dentistry-Gold Coast Component and has been cited by his professional colleagues for his outstanding contributions and nation-wide presentations to the profession.



Henry J. Ernst, DMD

Dr. Ernst, originally from Long Island, NY, grew up in Boca Raton and has been affiliated with Ross Dental & Specialty Group since 2000. He was captain of the Spanish River High School Football Team and is a graduate of the University of Alabama and the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Ernst has formal education and experience in sports medicine (trainer – University of Alabama –  Football Team) which provides for a strong foundation in delivering compassionate and skillful care for trauma and emergency dental treatment. 

Dr. Ernst has completed a 7 month extensive Implant training curriculum with Dr. Arun Garg, formerly, Professor of Surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine and has acheived fellowship status in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has also completed post-doctoral training with emphasis in Periodontal & Oral Surgery, Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry, Orthodontics, Root Canal Treatment, Jaw Joint Disorders (TMJ) and Sedation, Anesthesia & Pharmacology and has also been affiliated with the Atlantic Coast Research Clinic in the department of Oral Implantology. 

Dr. Ernst is also professionally affiliated with the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Atlantic Coast District Dental Association , the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Implant Association.
